I start the Banana Diet!!
One of my New Years Resolutions was to get back in shape.

I am definitely not overweight and never have been. Although I am fairly tall (174cm) I have a small build. My shoulders are not broad, my arms are skinny and my legs are quite slim. I have quite a small frame all over, I'm not very curvy.

However in the last year, I have gained about 5-7kg. I'm not REALLY self-conscious, although there are definitely parts of my body that I don't like (eg: my nose and my butt) I just try to forget about them.
I had a job back in 2009 that kept me in shape. I worked as a Stable Hand at my local Thoroughbred Training Stables, and carrying heavy buckets full of water and feed and handling huge horses definitely got me into shape. Probably the best shape I've ever been in.

However I kinda lost/quit my job and haven't been exercising. So I've gone from being around 52kg, to 60kg. Something I'm not that happy about :/
Don't get me wrong! I'm not going into a huge frenzy of strict eating and excessive exercising. I merely want to lose a few kilos (mainly off my butt/thighs >.<) and tone my body again.
My boyfriend has been working out everyday for a month so far, and he's looking amazing! (Not that he didn't look amazing before hehehe :P )
And it's inspired me to start as well. I found a picture of myself back in 2009, and a picture of me back in the middle of 2010, and there was definitely a difference in my body shape :/

So I've decided, as part of my New Years Resolution, to get back into shape! Here are the things I'm going to do to re-sexy-fy myself! :D

  • Do yoga with Mum
  • Meditate
  • Not eat unless I'm hungry
  • Stop eating unnecessary food like chips and junk food
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Banana diet!!
You may be wondering what the Banana diet is. And no, it doesn't mean eating bananas for every meal. It's a diet that the Japanese invented that took Japan - and other countries like South Korea and China - by storm. To explain it quickly, you eat two bananas before breakfast, two bananas before lunch, and one banana before dinner, and have water as a drink. To find out what it's all about click here.

It helps you lose weight slowly, and from the research I've done on it - it seems to work!! It must do if Japan went into banana shortage because of it!! XD
And heck, even if it doesn't work, at least I'll be toning my body by doing yoga and eating healthily.

On a school related note, I started my school work today =.= I realised I had less Japanese work to do than I thought I did! Which is great :) And I've got my Ancient History assignment to do - oi.
